ABOUT HUMBUG BARN
SLEEP
Humbug barn sleeps up to 6 guests and boasts 2 elegantly decorated bedrooms, one kingsize room with en-suite and one twin bed room (which can also be a kingsize on request. The spacious lounge area also offers a double sofa bed.
Luxury Duvets and bedding are provided for a most relaxing and restful nights sleep.
EAT
The barn boasts a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, hob, large fridge/freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and a washing machine. There are 3 dining areas to chose from, a breakfast bar in the kitchen, a family dining table in the lounge and an outside dining area – which means you truly are spoiled for choice!
RELAX
The spacious lounge offers panoramic views of the forest and is the perfect place to unwind.
This room is the hub of the barn boasting underfloor heating (in line with the rest of the property), a wood burning stove for those cosy winter nights, plenty of comfortable seating, a Smart TV with streaming facilities, a vast selection of DVD's and board games along with towels and flip flops for the hot tub.
BATHE
There are 2 bathrooms, one family bathroom with full sized bath, shower, toilet and hand basin and an en-suite in the larger bedroom with shower, toilet and hand basin.
We provide Egyptian cotton towels and Faith in Nature handwash and body lotion.
OUTSIDE SPACE
The Barn has off road parking for 2 cars and a Third Rock charging cable for electric vehicles. For your sole use we have a private covered 5 seater hot tub and we also offer a bike and equipment store.
The outside dining area has a brick built BBQ with a 6 seater table for your al fresco dining. The outside space is secure and safe for your family and four legged friends. For your convenience the property also has a hot and cold outside tap for muddy paws, boots and bikes.
The Orchard:
This 1.5 acre area is usually open for guests to explore or for their four legged friends to have zoomies however there are certain times during the year e.g. apple harvest when access is limited. Please check with the hosts prior to arrival.
DOGS
We know that your dogs are important family member's and are very welcome at Humbug Barn, our own dogs Sapphire (Greyhound) and Flossy (German Shepherd) give the barn their paws of approval!
We provide your four legged friends with blankets, towels, poop bags, a water bowl and welcome treats to make their stay as enjoyable as yours.
